9. Social-Media-Plug-ins

Instagram-Plug-in

Our website uses a plug-in of the social network “Instagram”. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (formerly Facebook Ireland Limited), 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

The use of Meta plug-ins and the associated data processing are based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Please note that when using Instagram, data may be transferred to the United States. Meta Platforms Inc. is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

The IP address is required for the display of Instagram content and is processed by Meta. We make efforts to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence if third-party providers store the IP address, for example for statistical purposes. To the extent that we are aware of such processing, we inform users accordingly.

If you are logged into Instagram with your own account, Instagram may associate information about your user behavior with your personal user account. You can prevent this by logging out of your Instagram account before accessing Instagram content published on our website.
For information on the purpose and scope of the data collection as well as the further processing and use of the data by Instagram, and for your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy, please refer to Instagram’s privacy policy: Data Policy | Instagram Help Center (facebook.com)

Our website uses a plug-in of the social network “LinkedIn”. The provider of this service is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

The use of LinkedIn plug-ins and the associated data processing are based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Please note that when using LinkedIn, data may be transferred to the United States. LinkedIn Corporation is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

By activating the plug-in, a connection to LinkedIn’s servers is established. LinkedIn is thereby informed that you have visited this website with your IP address, even if you do not have a LinkedIn profile or are currently not logged into LinkedIn. We would like to point out that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or of its use by LinkedIn.

If you are logged into LinkedIn, LinkedIn can directly associate your visit to our website with your LinkedIn profile. The information may also be published on LinkedIn and displayed to your contacts.
