If no 3D data is yet available, existing objects are translated into the digital space through 3D scanning and 3D modeling. In this way, we can visualize or simulate both prototypes and pre-series products. Once a 3D model is created, the range of applications is virtually limitless: virtual shoots, animated product trailers, interactive 3D viewers. In CGI product visualization, a 3D representation is created based on a real product, a component or a specific scene. In advertising, this digital model can then be staged accordingly.
